The shock mounts are the small rubber-and-metal discs that bond the seat and back shells to the chair's frame. All Eames Lounge shock mounts eventually fail — the original adhesive and rubber dry out and separate, and one day the back simply detaches with them.

To simplify the shipping process, we can send you a box that includes a return label and packing materials. You only need to ship the parts that require repair.
